This page presents various articles created by the investigative journalists Bob Feldman and Brian Salter on the website QuestionsQuestions.net which explain that many popular leftist media outlets such as “Democracy Now!” have their information heavily biased by globalist Establishment foundations and the CIA.
Disappointingly, an examination behind the scenes of many media outlets such as “Democracy Now!” reveal that they are controlled by the same global elite who control all major mainstream news sources. Conflicts of interest exist that are potentially very dangerous due to their audience's unsuspecting level of trust and the general lack of criticism such outlets receive.
A defining charactaristic of the bias at such media outlets is their supplying of disinformation meant to forward deceptive Establishment globalist objectives— including about issues such as the economy, global warming, pharmaceutical corruption, terrorism, liberties and rights, as well as their concealing of the most genuine mechanisms of corruption in the political processes of the United States and the rest of the world.
The following text is taken from Democracy Now!'s “About” page on March 5, 2011. Text is hilighted by News of Interest.TV.
[Note— The above text makes claims of other news sources being corrupt but it does not mention one of the most significant causes of that corruption being the global elite’s control of the media through organizations such as the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR). Further, the text incorrectly attempts to claim that funding from powerful tax exempt foundations is somehow not a corrupting government influence, which is a topic that is covered in detail in the following articles on this page.]
WHY INDEPENDENT MEDIA ?
For true democracy to work, people need easy access to independent, diverse sources of news and information.
But the last two decades have seen unprecedented corporate media consolidation. The U.S. media was already fairly homogeneous in the early 1980s: some fifty media conglomerates dominated all media outlets, including television, radio, newspapers, magazines, music, publishing and film. In the year 2000, just six corporations dominated the U.S. media.
In addition, corporate media outlets in the U.S. are legally responsible to their shareholders to maximize profits.
And U.S. “public” media outlets accept funding from major corporations, as well as from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, which has attempted in the past to exert political and editorial influence on public news producers.
Democracy Now! is funded entirely through contributions from listeners, viewers, and foundations. We do not accept advertisers, corporate underwriting, or government funding. This allows us to maintain our independence.

This article explains how the military-industrial-acedemia complex and CIA associated Ford Foundation have been providing substantial grants to numerous “alternative” media organizations such as FAIR, Progressive Magazine, and Democracy Now's Pacifica. Also explained is other Establishment organizations and Foundations being involved as well, such as the MacArthur, Soros, Rockefeller, Carnegie, and Shumann Foundations.
It is explained that involvement of essentially the entire political Establishment in funding major “alternative” media insures that such outlets will be “more bark than bite” and be “the kind of 'opposition' that the ruling elite can tolerate and live with.”

This article describes a history of the powerful Ford Foundation collaborating with the CIA and other Establishment groups to provide funding to those groups as far back as World War II; also explained are aspects of the foundation's current configuration and many of its present abuses.
Excerpts are presented from the book “The Cultural Cold War” by Frances Stoner Saunders explaining that the Ford Foundation has an official administrative unit within it specifically for collaborating with the CIA, and the Foundation has been one of the single largest donors to the Council on Foreign Relations. Also described is how many such foundations are used as a “pass-through” to supply large amounts of secret funds to CIA projects.
Current issues with the Ford Foundation are explained, including its connections to such Establishment organizations as the Carlyle group, Trilateral Commission, Council on Foreign Relations, South African Apartheid, the Nuclear Weapons Industry, and its funding of many mainstream “alternative” media outlets such as Democracy Now! and NPR.
