Donald Trump had legalized growing hemp nationwide in the U.S. starting in January of 2019, after nearly 50 years of prohibition. The Hemp Farming Act of 2018 was signed into law on December 20, 2018, being a part of the 2018 Farm Bill. The act changes the classification of hemp from being a controlled substance to being an agricultural product, and additionally it gives farmers opportunities to receive loans, water rights, and crop insurance for growing hemp.
Trump’s new policy will have enormous positive environmental and economic effects, as cutting trees will no longer be necessary for the production of paper and many types of building materials, cotton that is dependent on toxic pesticides will be able to be replaced by hemp for the creation of fabric for clothing, and many foods can be made from hemp as well.
Agricultural hemp does not contain the drug tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) that is contained in marijuana plants, however the fact that it is difficult to distinguish the difference between those plants by appearance has been cited as the reason for outlawing the cultivation of hemp in the past. Also competing industries such as logging interests have been influential in ensuring that the cultivation of hemp has remained illegal.

A new type of machine invented by an Australian named Adrian Clarke is able to process freshly harvested hemp into yarn that can be used in existing cotton spinning machines, which will likely revolutionize textile production around the world.

In the year 2000, Phillip Worts, a detective for the San Diego Police Department, wrote an essay that details the ongoing agenda of the political Establishment to implement “Community Oriented Policing,” which is actually a plan to turn police officers into Soviet-style Marxist “change agents.”
In the article, Worts first explains a basic history of Marxism and the agenda of implementing it in the U.S., and he then details the writings of the “father of community policing” Robert Trojanowicz which shows that he strategized to intentionally cause “crime, disorder, and fear of crime” in communities in order to create an excuse to implement “community policing.” Worts then explains how such “community police” are actually playing the role of Marxist facilitators that remove an important previously existing barrier between the increasingly tyrannical government and public citizens.

In this video from the leftist television show “The View,” Harris mentions that “Redlining” is a problem; however that practice has been outlawed years ago and most modern claims of it happening are either isolated instances or exaggerations. Cultural Marxists often try to make claims of redlining still being a problem in order to justify the intrusive intervention of the government for deceptive agendas.
Harris was then asked about her stance of decriminalizing border crossings, to which she said:
“There should be consequences for [coming into the country illegally.] Let me be very clear: We need to have a secure border. But I am in favor of saying that we are not going to treat people who come across the border as criminals, that is correct. .. We are not going to have any more policy like we have under this current president that is about inhumane conduct, that is about putting babies in cages, that is about separating children from their parents. And we have got to have policy that is about comprehensive immigration reform with a pathway towards citizenship. ... Coming into the country should be a ‘civil’ enforcement issue but not a ‘criminal’ enforcement issue.”

Restoring the Rights of the States and the People, by John McManus

The 38 page booklet “Restoring the Rights of the States and the People” explains how the political system of the United States has migrated away from following the structure that has been specified in the U.S. Constitution, and it explains how elements of the current political system could be moved toward being restored to their original Constitutional principals.
The governmental system of United States was originally designed by the Framers of the U.S. Constitution to be a union of independent states, with most of the power belonging to the individual states, and with the Federal Government being intentionally very limited in its powers.
The political configuration of the United States currently consists of much of its power resting in a centralized Federal Government, which is a configuration that the Framers were strongly opposed to and went to great lengths to limit through the laws they created in the Constitution.
The booklet explains major points in the history of the U.S. government’s migration from its originally designed configuration in 1787 to how it is configured today, explaining the rationalized excuses and illegal methods that have been used by elements of the political system of the United States in order to implement legislation that is contrary to the laws and intentions of the Framers of the Constitution.
Methods are then described that can be used by citizens and politicians to move the government toward restoring key elements of its originally planned configuration as laid out by the Founders.
This booklet has been written by John McManus, and is distributed by The John Birch Society.

Major socialist agendas have been implemented in the United States during the past two centuries which exist contrary to the specifications of the Constitution. Many of such agendas are pointed to as being helpful for society, and it is true that some have been helpful, however those agendas have been implemented by making use of dishonest interpretations of the Constitution at the expense of such goals being reached by better methods. Introduction
This section introduces the subject of the Federal Government of the United States being involved in the lives of citizens in unconstitutional ways which is causing problems such as creating an out of control national debt.
The Tenth Amendment
This section describes the Bill of Rights, which are the first ten amendments to the Constitution that are meant to be prohibitions on government power. The Tenth Amendment states that if the Constitution does not specifically authorize the government to engage in some activity, then the government is not allowed to do it; however Congress has a long history of violating the Tenth Amendment by implementing types of agendas that the Framers of the Constitution specifically intended to guard against, such as centralizing control of the Federal Government over the states through the creation of government programs, and engaging in overseas conflicts since World War II without formal declarations of war.
The Legacy of John Marshall
The section describes the activities of the Supreme Court Chief Justice John Marshall, who authored many dangerous innovations and interpretations of the Constitution during the first part of the 19th century which have since been used to circumvent many of the original intentions of the Framers who designed it. Marshall’s activities shifted power from the states to the federal level in ways that the Framers of the Constitution specifically sought to block.
The Constitution Circumvented
This section explains that the laws of the Constitution are illegally being circumvented with false excuses such as claims that “the government of the United States can do whatever it wants as long as it is not prohibited by the Constitution,” with an example given of the unconstitutional existence of the Federal Reserve banking system, along with other examples.
More Marshall Mischief
This section describes additional methods that are used to circumvent the laws of the Constitution as first implemented by Chief Justice John Marshall, who reinterpreted the Constitution based on any excuse possible such as claiming significance of the absence of the word “expressly” in a particular passage; and he also stated that the original intent of the Framers is not a factor that needs to be taken into consideration in interpreting what they wrote, despite Thomas Jefferson specifically stating that the original intent must be honored.
Erroneous Reliance on the “Elastic Clause”
This section describes the use of what is improperly thought of as an “elastic clause” based on the incorrect interpretation of the phrase “foregoing powers” in one of the passages, which Congress uses as an excuse to be interpreted as being an “open-ended” clause that allows them to implement whatever they would like.
The “General Welfare” Clause
This section describes a misinterpretation of the phrase “provide for the general welfare” from a passage which is used as justification for the Federal Government to centralize power over the states and implement many socialist programs, despite the Constitution being designed to stop the Federal Government from having such authority.
Judicial Usurpation
This section describes the true task of the Justices of the Supreme Court being to uphold the Constitution rather than interpret it in order to forward political agendas; also described is the fact that the Supreme Court should not even be ruling on many cases that it does because those cases are matters of individual states and not the business of the Federal Government.
The Constitution’s First Sentence
This section talks about the Constitution not actually giving the Executive or Judicial branches law making powers despite the currently common practice of them doing so, such as when Presidents make use of “executive orders” to create federal agencies and bureaus despite such orders only actually applying to federal employees under their direct jurisdiction.
Treaty Law and the Constitution
This section describes how international treaties are not allowed to replace the Constitution’s power and limitations, despite many doing so. Quotes by Founders are shown explaining their concern that treaties must not be able to alter Constitutional powers.
No Constitutional Convention
This section explains that a “Constitutional Convention” (“con-con”) is a legal method for creating drastic changes to the Constitution which could include potentially completely nullifying it, which has great potential to be abused by corrupt political elites.
What Can Be Done
This section describes many steps that can be taken in order to help restore the United States government to a system which more closely follows the original intent of the Framers of the Constitution. Suggestions made include the establishment of non-governmental associations to help create change; citizens voting for proper candidates who will support the Constitution; the importance of congressmen introducing new legislation which undoes laws and programs that are unconstitutional; impeaching corrupt politicians; restoring the original method of senators being chosen by state legislatures; the importance of members of the House not voting to fund unconstitutional mandates; unconstitutional rulings made by the Supreme Court being overturned by Congress; as well as many other suggestions.

This video demonstrates a type of solar energy collector called a “Sterling Engine,” which is the most efficient way to generate electricity from the sun. It works by a reflective parabolic dish concentrating sunlight onto a hydrogen filled engine which contains a piston that is powered by the heat of the concentrated sunlight.
The potential of concealing Sterling engine solar collectors with trellises
An ideal solution would be to place as many dishes on a rooftop as possible, but a drawback to using dishes in such a manner is the fact that they would be very unsightly. However, such dishes could be almost entirely concealed using trellises that are covered with ivy or other materials.
From the above images it is apparent that two large dishes would be able to fit onto the rooftop of many suburban houses without destroying the asthetic of the neighborhood. Surplus energy created by the dishes could potentially be supplied to adjacent houses and sold back to the utility company as well.

Drawbacks of large reflected-light solar plants that utilize a centralized solar collector

A much more effective solution is for solar energy to be generated and distributed as close as possible to the locations where the electricity will actually be used.

The wasteful and heavily government subsidized Ivanpah Solar Electric Generating Plant which opened in California’s Mojave desert in 2014 has brutally incinerated as many as 28,000 birds per year at the rate of ten per hour, but engineers are claiming that their efforts have supposedly reduced the amount of birds killed to two per hour. Nonetheless, even if the claim of the kills being reduced is true, it is still too many and the ineffective plant should be shut down.
Centralized solar power plants run by utility companies such as The Ivanpah Solar Electric Generating Plant in California are usually not a viable solution due to the fact that they cause serious harm to birds, and their centralized nature usually locates them far away from where the energy is actually used, which results in massive amounts of energy being lost to resistance in the transmission wires. Drawbacks of flat solar panels

The genuine motivations of the global elite with their supposed global warming concerns are actually entirely different than what people are led to believe when listening to the mainstream media. A close inspection of the “solutions” they are offering shows that they are using the issue for ulterior motives of consolidating their control over the nations and people of the world rather than for actually helping the environment. In fact, solid science shows that whatever global warming is occuring is a natural cyclical process that is not related to the amount of CO2 in the air.
The Sterling dishes are actually the exact opposite of everything the political Establishment is hoping to accomplish through their deception about climate change. The dishes would empower individuals to be self-sufficient and independent, which is precisely what the elite have been trying to eliminate through their legislation!
For that reason, the Establishment is not promoting or developing Sterling dishes in any significant way, even though such technology would be an excellent solution to their supposed “man-made climate change problem.”

— The facility is a joint venture between NRG Energy, Google, and BrightSource Energy. It costed $2.2 billion to build, and it was subsidized with an Obama administration $1.6 billion federal loan guarantee.
— Under current regulations, Northern California’s PG&E is forced to pay a premium price of $57 per megawatt hour for solar power versus $35 per megawatt hour for power generated using natural gas. Additionally, corrupt “sustainable energy” legislation results in the plant actually being paid $200 per megawatt hour during the summer and $135 per megawatt hour during the rest of the year.
— The plant also receives huge California subsidies that include a 30 percent tax credit and a guarantee that the utilities will buy all of the plant’s electrical generation despite the actual demand on the plant.

— The Audubon Society of California gathered several conservation organizations to call for the plant to close due to it violating the Migratory Bird Treaty Act, citing that the bird losses were much higher than at the Alamont Winds turbines in Northern California which killed 67 golden eagles, 80 American kestrels, 57 burrowing owls, and 172 red-tailed hawks over a recent 10-year period. [Note: More recently the global warming alarmist Audubon Society had published an article in 2017 saying, “solar power is good for birds” because it “saves them from global warming.” At the end of the article it did mention the Ivanpah plant as being “not so good for birds,” claiming that it kills seven birds per kilowatt hour as opposed to “climate change impacts of burning fossil fuels [killing] only one bird per gigawatt hour.”]
— A spokesman David Knox said the plant is trying to be proactive in testing different tactics to minimize bird deaths such as by redirecting the rays away from migratory bird paths, replacing flood lights with LED lights that attract fewer insects that birds feed on, attaching anti-perching spikes on the frames of the three towers, broadcasting loud and high pitched shrieking noises, and spraying nonlethal avian respiratory irritants that are used by farmers to protect crops. Knox said the results have been “modest,” bringing the bird kill down to about two an hour.

Western Watersheds Project, an Idaho-based conservation nonprofit group, has been attempting to stop the government from approving the solar plant, suing in 2011, but a California district court rejected the suit near the end of 2012. But the California Energy Commission already is on the side of BrightSource, saying, that the plant would impose “significant impacts on the environment ... the benefits the project would provide override those impacts.”
