A Summary of a Fox News Article: “White House doubles down after Biden admits US border not secure: ‘The system is broken’”

A January 22 Fox News Article explains that the White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre is now conceding that the Biden Administration believes that the U.S. border is not secure, despite the fact that the Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas has been repeatedly testifying to Congress saying that the border is in fact secure.

In her press conference Jean-Pierre referred to the system as “broken” and “in need of further funding,” and she dodged the discrepancy between what Mayorkas has been saying and what the Biden administration is now saying, where she said, “The president has been really clear that we need to move on the border.  Him saying that we need to deal with border security, as we, as Mayorkas, as we all have here been doing at the White House, I think shows that we have an issue at the border and we need to deal with it, and we have to act now.  There’s an urgent need.”

The article also mentions that the Biden administration has sought to downplay the record-high illegal immigration in the late months of 2023, where as many as 10,000 migrants have been encountered daily at the southern border in December.

Also explained is that Republicans are pursuing impeachment against Mayorkas.  Rep. Michael McCaul, R-Texas, told Fox News’ Maria Bartiromo, “This one man is the architect of destruction down here.  One man has caused all this chaos, deaths from fentanyl poisoning, danger to the country with terrorists coming in and 8 million encounters with no legal status.  He is the architect.  He has destroyed the fabric of this nation.”

A January 13 Breitbart article explains a draft deal that the Democrats attempted to offer as a “compromise” for fixing the broken and insecure border situation, which the Republican Speaker Mike Johnson appropriately outright rejected.

The Republicans appropriately want the House-passed “H.R. 2 border security bill” to be enacted which would effectively help fix the immigration problem by enacting the following policies:  (See this article for details of each of the following points of that bill.)

— Restart border wall construction and defund NGOs that provide services to migrants.
— Significantly limit asylum in the U.S.
— Roll back safeguards for migrant children.
— Narrow the executive branch’s parole powers.
— Criminalize overstaying a legal visa.
— Mandate that employers electronically verify the immigration status of their workers.

… However the ridiculous offer by the Democrats was instead as follows:

— Increase green cards by 50,000 / year.
— Give work permits to adult children of H-1B holders.
— Grant immediate work permits to every illegal alien released from custody.
— Offer taxpayer funded lawyers to certain UAC’s mentally incompetent aliens.
— Allow 5,000 migrants into the U.S. per day.
— Restrict parole for those who enter without authorization between ports of entry.

A January 28th CBS News article explains a more recent ridiculous “bipartisan deal” that is being formulated which will soon be voted on.  Following is a summary of the article:

— After weeks of closed-door negotiations, a bipartisan group of lawmakers in Congress are about the create a deal with the Biden administration which would enact many new border control laws, including the ability for the executive branch to pause asylum processing during spikes in migrant crossings.

— The deal that will soon be decided upon will face an uphill battle in the House where conservative lawmakers are staunchly against it, and Donald Trump has come out against the deal, saying he would “rather have no bill than a bad bill.”

— If enacted into law, the deal would be the first overhaul of the nation’s immigration system since the 1990s.

— The agreement would allow the executive branch the legal authority to “shut down the border” and suspend migrant asylum processing when migrant crossings surpass certain thresholds, which would be allowed after crossings surpass 5,000 over seven days or 8,500 in a single day.  And it could be activated after average daily crossings surpass 4,000 in a week.  Also there would [even more ridiculously] be a limit on the number of days each year when the president could invoke that authority.

— During the times when the asylum processing is shut down under the executive authority, migrants would not be allowed to ask for asylum but rather they would be deported to Mexico or their home country if they attempt to enter the U.S.

— However, even when that authority is invoked, asylum will continue be allowed at “official ports of entry” where 1,400 will continue to be allowed each day.

— The scope of the expedited removal authority would be increased.

— Immigration officials would be instructed to decide asylum cases within six months rather than in a years-long time frame.

— The standard of proof in initial asylum interviews would be increased.  [But note that the migrants would likely simply be coached beforehand about how to pass whatever the new standards are.]

— Migrants would immediately be eligible to work in the U.S. after being released pending their asylum cases.

— All of the above provisions would require an enormous surge in personnel and resources, where the Biden administration is asking for $14 billion to fund border operations and hire additional asylum officers, border agents, and immigration judges.

— The compromise also has provisions for legal immigration, which would allocate 50,000 new family and employment-based immigrant visas, offer permanent residency to tens of thousands of [unvetted] Afghans that have been brought to the U.S. in 2021, and provide immigration status to the children of H-1B visa holders.

— The agreement would not legalize the estimated “11 million” immigrants who are living in the U.S. without legal permission.  [NOTE: The actual amount is actually MUCH more than 11 million, where in fact it is 30 million or even much more.  Establishment media outlets such as CBS always grossly under-report the actual amount.  See the article “A Summary of Immigration Issues in the United States.”]

It could be argued that at least the Democrats “didn’t lie” when they said that they were going to have open borders during the Biden administration (link, and link)— however, Biden and the Democrats were fraudulently given victory in the 2020 election through the electronic vote counting machines being easily hackable. (link)

Almost all Democrat and Republican politicians are controlled by the same group of global elite individuals via Freemasonry (link) (including even most of the “legitimate”-seeming Republicans), however Democrat politicians are much more dangerous because they generally don’t even bother to conceal their deceitful and harmful intentions which they openly vote for and get away with— due to too many naive and misinformed voters assuming that such politicians must somehow be “the good guys” who have “good intentions.”

Most Republican at least try to keep up an appearance of keeping their policies unadulterated by intentionally harmful Establishment agendas, which makes them much safer.  However many “RINOs” (Republicans In Name Only) frequently vote for harmful anti-American agendas anyway and they mostly get away with it.
