Donald Trump has appointed many extreme Zionists to key positions in his administration
by Edward Ulrich, January 30, 2025
Most people are not aware that Donald Trump’s administration is very pro-Zionism, where many of his key appointments are actually shown to be extreme in that regard.
Many of Trump’s appointments are “Christian Zionists” who espouse militant support of Israel, including the National Security Advisor Pete Hegseth, the Secretary of State Marco Rubio, the Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem, as well as others as explained in this article.
Also see this article that explains what Christian Zionism is.

Issues with the National Security Advisor Pete Hegseth
Trump’s National Security Advisor Pete Hegseth is an extreme Christian Zionist who often expresses militant attitudes towards Palestine and other parts of the world such as Iran, and he objects to a two-state solution with Israel and Palestine.
Hegseth recently described himself as being a “recovering Neocon for six years now” in this video interview.
Hegseth has many tattoos that are associated with extreme Christian nationalist groups, which are also often claimed to be White Supremacist symbols. (link)
In a 2016 interview he said, “[His visit to Israel] reaffirmed the ties the Jewish people have to this land that have historical and real geopolitical resonance today. This is not some mystical land that can be dismissed. It’s the story of God’s chosen people.”

In this video Hegseth says that his mentalities about Israel are due to what is said in the Bible.
Also see the video in this Tweet where Hegseth explains his belief that the Third Temple will be rebuilt in Jerusalem, and he is calling for Israel to annex the West Bank.
Following is from an article explaining issues at Hegseth’s confirmation hearing:
In his confirmation hearing at the Senate Committee on Armed Services Tuesday, Hegseth’s opening remarks were interrupted by protestors, one of whom called him a misogynist and a “Christian Zionist” before being escorted out of the gallery by Capitol police.
During his questioning, Sen. Tom Cotton, a Republican from Arkansas, remarked on the interruption and gave Hegseth the chance to respond.
“I’m not really sure why that is a bad thing,” said Cotton. “I’m a Christian, I’m a Zionist. Zionism is that the Jewish people deserve a homeland in the ancient Holy Land where they lived since the dawn of history. Do you consider yourself a Christian Zionist?”
Hegseth replied, “I am a Christian and I robustly support the state of Israel and its existential defense and the way America comes alongside them as their great ally.”
Cotton then mentioned another heckler, who he identified as a member of the women-led anti-war organization Code Pink, who alleged that Hegseth supported Israel’s war in Gaza.
“I support Israel in destroying and killing every last member of Hamas,” Hegseth confirmed. It echoed Trump’s call for Israel to finish the job and eliminate Hamas.

Hegseth was previously a pundit at Fox News, and last March he interviewed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu where he said, “Israel needs our support,” (link) and he ran a three-part series on Fox Nation where he said, “There’s no doubt this is a fight that Israel needs to finish.” (link)
Issues with the Secretary of State Marco Rubio
Since the October 7th attacks, Rubio has been a staunch advocate for Israel doing whatever it wants to destroy Hamas in Palestine, saying it should be done “[even though it] will come at a horrifying price.” He espoused that view in this October 9, 2024 Tweet, as well as many times in the coming year, such as this link shows.
In June of 2024, Rubio introduced legislation along with U.S. Senators Jim Risch (R-Idaho), Pete Ricketts (R-Neb.), and Tim Scott (R-S.C.) in order to ensure that there will be Congressional oversight for any changes to arms shipments to Israel. Rubio said the following about the matter:
The U.S. must stand firmly in support of its strongest ally in the Middle East, Israel. The Jewish State continues to face increased threats from Hamas and Hezbollah terrorists as well as from the Iranian regime and its proxies. While the Biden Administration has weakened our support of Israel, including pausing weapons deliveries authorized by Congress, it is crucial we are able to conduct proper oversight over the administration’s actions that further erode Israel’s ability to defend itself.
Rubio introduced legislation to stop the U.S. government from sending Palestinians humanitarian aid through the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA). [Note: There is a debate about issues with the UN agency, which the article that is linked to mentions.]
Rubio reintroduced a bill that inappropriately allows state and local governments to implement laws targeting firms that boycott Israel in the “boycott, divestment, and sanction” (BDS) movement.
Most recently, Rubio is supporting Trump’s plan to monitor and deport foreign students who engage in extreme pro-Palestinian campus protests. (link and link) [Note: There is a debate about if it is for deporting people who only specifically advocate for terrorist groups, or if it is also for deporting people who are simply considered to be antisemites.]
Issues with the Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem
Trump’s Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem seems to be behaving in an intentionally divisive manner which appears to be calculated to make herself seem callous and ridiculous.
In 2024 Noam had been widely criticized and ridiculed for writing in her autobiography that she killed her own dog, (link) and she falsely claimed that she met North Korea’s dictator Kim Jong Un. (link)
In March of 2024, Noem, who is not Jewish, signed the most draconian hate crime bill in the U.S. to “stop antisemitism” in her state of South Dakota, where after signing the bill she said it is giving Jews additional special privileges because they are “God’s chosen people.” The bill mandates that the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance’s (IHRA) working definition of antisemitism must be taken into account during investigations into discriminatory practices, where it inappropriately conflates criticism of Israel with antisemitism. (link)
In November Noam Tweeted “President Donald J. Trump is building the most pro-Israel Administration in US History. The days of weakness and appeasement are OVER. Peace through strength is back.”
Issues with the Attorney General Pam Bondi
Pam Bondi is being widely criticized along with Kristi Noem for advocating to deport students with foreign visas who demonstrate in favor of Hamas. (link) [Note: I would agree with doing that as long as it would be only for people who advocate for terrorist groups, but of course I would strongly disagree if it would also be for simply advocating in favor of Palestine or making antisemitic statements which should be anyone’s right to do. In any event, I wouldn’t trust the mentalities of either Bondi or Noem to make fair distinctions in regard to that.]
Issues with the U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Elise Stefanik
At her confirmation hearing to become the U.S. ambassador to the U.N., Elise Stefanik said an “antisemitic rot” exists at the United Nations, and she called for its Palestinian aid agency UNRWA to be defunded.
In a November 4, 2024 press release she said, “The United States must stand with Israel’s decision to ban Hamas-infiltrated UNRWA from operating in Israel, the West Bank, and Gaza.” [This BBC article explains that almost all of Gaza’s population of more than two million people are dependent on aid and services from that agency, and Israel is claiming that “a number of the agency’s staff were involved in Hamas’s 7 October attacks last year.”]
In Stefanik’s confirmation hearing she ridiculously said that she agrees with the view that “Israel has a biblical right to the entire West Bank”; where additionally she is espousing that view despite being a Catholic, where no Catholic doctrine even exist about that matter. (link)
Stefanik is known for calling out three presidents of Ivy League universities for not effectively handling issues with protesters calling for the genocide of Jews. (link) However she advocates for going too far with that type of agenda, where she told Mark Levin of Fox News that the Republicans are seeking criminal prosecutions for so-called antisemitism and they are “not going to hesitate to subpoena communications, documents, all aspects of how these schools and others have mismanaged this crisis that has been growing for years.” (link) Also Mark Levin who she spoke with in the link is an extreme Zionist who advocates for Israel initiating a global nuclear holocaust if its existence is threatened, in what is called ”The Samson Option.” (link)
Also Stefanik is often criticized in the Establishment media for correctly pointing out the supposedly false and “white nationalist” great replacement theory, (link) however that theory is easily proven to be true. (link and link)
Issues with the U.S Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee
Trump’s ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee is a Baptist minister who is close with both Donald Trump and Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, where he says that he has traveled to Israel over 100 times since 1973. He rejects the idea of a two-state solution, and he has advocated for Israel to annex both Gaza and the West Bank.
He said in 2008, “there is no such thing as a Palestinian”; he said in 2016 that he saw the occupied West Bank as an “integral part” of Israel; and in 2017 he said, “There is no such thing as a West Bank. It’s Judea and Samaria. There’s no such thing as a settlement.”
Additionally, in a radio interview after the announcement of his new role in the Trump administration, he said, “of course” when asked if the annexation of the West Bank is possible in Trump’s second term.
